BESPOKE GIFT OF A FAMILY TREE
I just wanted to share with you some of Mauricio's latest work to commission - "bespoke gift". This person came to him with a vague idea of what she wanted but he took over and came up with this. Completely made from scratch, he took his time making this one exercising his usual attention to detail and perfection.
MADE USING RECYCLED SLATE
This piece, as with all his pieces, was made with a piece of slate that came from the roof of some Irish building. That's where we source all our material; from salvage companies or local individuals who have some slate and are passing it on. So we, essentially, breathe new life into this old piece of slate, making it functional once more but in a different way - as a decorative functional piece for the home and garden
