In our kitchen Mauricio made a shelving unit using old recycled wood and slate for the shelves. He also made a table with a slate top that fits nicely into a corner in the kitchen with a slate shelf underneath it.
This shelf in the photo is in our bathroom where we put a plant on beside the bath/shower. It fits in there very nice and the plant sits on it very comfortably. I love using slate for shelving and , as we have lots of it, we might as well use it. We're calling it a corner plant holder. It could be called a corner shelf.
