Owl And The Moon

   11 May 2024

The Owl and The Pussycat come to mind with this hand painted piece of art on slate of a barn owl and the moon behind.  They are nocturnal after all so it's very likely that the moon is out when they are.  These birds live in barns and old out houses and come out at night to feed on little rodents and small creatures.

Unfortunately, sightings of them are getting fewer and fewer and they are on the red list as endangered species.  Why not join and become a member of Birdwatch Ireland  and see what you can do to help.
